Go see Grindhouse

Grindhouse is performing horribly at the box office. In part because apparently, there are too many people out there who prefer Will Ferell acting like a fucking homo on ice skates, to a fucking Rodriguez/Tarantino double feature. Nothing against Will Ferell acting like a homo in ice skates, but go see the fucking Rodriguez/Tarantino double feature first, and not only once, but twice or more, and bring/tell all your friends.
I can't believe it how few people have seen Grindhouse yet.

While we are working on bringing The Quentin Tarantino Archives back, I NOW COMMAND YOU TO CALL EVERBODY YOU KNOW AND THEN YOU WILL TAKE THEM TO SEE GRINDHOUSE. And you know why? Because I never had that much fun at the movies ever, and neither did my friends and everybody I talked to about the film. It is not the best movie ever, but it's the most entertaining in a long fucking time, and worth your bucks. Go see it. Now.

We are not death-proof

Dear fan.

As you might be aware of, The Quentin Tarantino Archives and all its sister-sites have been unavailable since last week. This comes during the worst possible time ever, as Tarantino.info hence practically "missed" the theatrical opening of Grindhouse and is now unable to continue its great coverage of the movie's opening.
What happened? While technical details are still being worked on, it seems like the database used by our website crashed and tons of data got lost or corrupted, leaving the database as a whole unable to run. We are trying our best to recover the data somehow and have the website back as soon as possible. But it does not look good, apparently, we are not death proof. This is a huge setback for me personally as well, as it totally destroys the opportunities our encounters with Tarantino and Co has opened up for this website.

I apologize for the downtime and hope that all of you will stay loyal to us, even though we are unable to provide you with your favorite hang-out place at this moment. I sincerely hope we are able to fix the technical problems to be back to normal as soon as possible.

In the meantime, do Harvey Weinstein a favor and go see the movie with as many friends as possible, as many times as possible. Grindhouse underperformed at the opening weekend, to the surprise of everyone. I am not to blame, I saw it twice in a row and brought all my friends with me. Grindhouse is a great movie experience, and screw everbody who didn't go see it :-)

If you want to show your support for the Quentin Tarantino Archives, go ahead and order the Grindhouse book, the soundtracks and other stuff over at Amazon using our links. In case we have to hire a professional to get our data back, we will probably need every penny. If not, the money will go into measures to make sure shit like this doesn't happen again.

Thank you very much and if you're one of those religious fellas, pray to God allmighty or Allah or Buddah (or Ben the tech paramedic) to make The Quentin Tarantino Archives come back to life.
